Extras needed for Clark filmMatthew Perry needs some friends and he needs them now. The former sitcom star has been cast as the lead role in The Ron Clark Story, a TNT original television movie which will film in Calgary. The film needs extras and speaking roles of African Canadian, Latino, Hispanic, Puerto Rican, Asian and Middle Eastern descents.Children and adults of all ages are needed for shooting dates from Aug. 29 to Sept. 30. The casting call takes place Saturday, Aug. 13 at the Coast Plaza Hotel 13116 33 St. N.E. from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.Perry will star as Ron Clark, a dedicated elementary school teacher from North Carolina. It details his exploits as a teacher in Harlem, N.Y., and his efforts to transform the lives of a group of ‘hopeless’ sixth grade students.His actions earned him Disney’s 2000 Teacher of the Year Award. Clark has appeared several times on Oprah Winfrey and is also a best-selling author.
